Meet the Smile Again NJ Team

Dr. Daniel Greenbaum is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist with Advanced Fellowship Training in Implantology and Periodontology. Dr. Greenbaum is originally from Rockland County, NY and now lives in Bergen County, NJ. He attended CUNY Queens College for his undergraduate studies, graduating in 2003 summa cum laude. He then attended Columbia University where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2007. A General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center followed in 2008, and then specialty training in Prosthodontics at University of Maryland with a certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science degree in awarded in 2011. An additional Implantology and Periodontology Fellowship followed at the University of Maryland with a certificate awarded in 2012.
Since 2012, Dr. Greenbaum has been actively treating patients in private practice, teaching dentistry to students and colleagues at dental schools and study clubs, and he is active in multiple dental education organizations.
Dr. David Zelig is a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr. Zelig has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Memphis and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. He then completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He maintained a private practice in Memphis, TN, active in craniofacial and trauma surgery, as well as an attending in oral surgery resident education.
After returning to the Northeast, Dr. Zelig has been active in facial trauma surgery, and major implant surgery. He is a pioneer in the dental implant field, and is well known for his surgical prowess in treatment of complex bone-loss cases, those cases previously believed to be impossible. In addition to the placement of conventional dental implants, Dr. Zelig is proficient in and is a leader and teacher in the field of Zygomatic and Pterygoid implants. Thanks to Dr. Zelig’s skills, everyone who comes to Smile Again Dental Implant Center is now a candidate for dental implants and permanent teeth; even if told in the past that they do not have enough bone.
Dr. Zelig is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the New York State Dental Association. In his free time, he enjoys time with family, weightlifting, cycling, and guitar.
