Dr. Roy Berenholtz, MD

Double-Board Certified Anesthesiology & Pediatric Anesthesia · Anesthesiology Director

If you are preparing for full-arch dental implant treatment, you deserve an experience that feels safe, comfortable, and carefully managed every step of the way. As the lead anesthesiologist at Smile Again Dental Implant Center, my goal is to help you feel relaxed and confident throughout your procedure and recovery.

I am double board-certified in both adult and pediatric anesthesiology, with extensive experience providing anesthesia and sedation for complex dental and surgical procedures. Whether you experience dental anxiety, have special medical needs, or are undergoing a full mouth restoration, I focus on delivering personalized care designed to keep you comfortable and at ease.

After serving in the Israeli Defense Forces, I earned my medical degree and completed my residency in Anesthesiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I then completed advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, one of the nation’s leading pediatric anesthesia programs.

I am certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and am a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists, and Moreano International Medical Missions.

Over the years, I have cared for countless patients undergoing advanced dental procedures, including full arch dental implant surgery. I understand that these treatments can feel overwhelming, which is why I prioritize patient safety, clear communication, and a calm, supportive experience for both patients and their families.

Beyond my clinical work, I am passionate about humanitarian medicine and have participated in medical missions around the world, including volunteer work in Haiti caring for earthquake victims and service missions in Ecuador.
